ACK SHALOM CHURCH 04TH JANUARY 2026 NOTICES 1. The vicar and the leadership of church welcomes you and appreciate efforts you took to be here in this worship service. Those who are worshiping with us for the first-time kindly stand so that we can recognize you. Kindly see the people’s warden after the service. May God bless you through this service. 2. Today Sunday 4th January 2025 is first Sunday of the year, trusting God for His faithfulness, we will have holy communion in all our services. 3. The theme for year 2026 is “ The people that know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” Daniel 11:32b 5. KAMA  Men are encouraged to update their monthly contributions,  KAMA Calendars sold at Ksh 300 6. Mothers  Canon and mother Leadership encourage each one us to keep on praying and fasting as we pray for next year 5m Challenge among other issues  Vote of thanks for mothers attending prayers yesterday at ACK Clay city. 7. CHOIR/ALL FELLOWSHIP Choir, Brigade and all fellowship have on Christmas and new year break They will reopen next Sunday 11th January 2025 Choir will begin practices this Thursday 8th January 2026 8. Registration Registration and welfare are beginning today, the registration is sh300, for welfare is Ksh 200, Youth registration is Shs 100 and Teens & Sunday school 50 each. Kindly visit the office for registration. 9. 5M Challenge launch is today Sunday 4th January 2026 Our 5 million Challenge daily Challenge begins tomorrow Monday 5th January 2025 with the vicar as the first Guest, we have been requested by challenge committee led by Mr. Evans (Tom) – Committee Chairman and Capt. Njau- Chairman Assistant to support the noble course. God Bless you. 10. Brigade Equipment – We are encouraged to voluntarily buy the equipment. If you wish to buy any equipment, kindly see the vicar. 11. On Sunday 18th January 2026 is Sunday we shall dedicate our 2026 resolutions, aspirations and goals to God. 13. Canon invites the following for meeting  P.C.C members to a meeting on Tuesday 13th January 2026 at 6:30pm  Finance & general-purpose committee members meeting on Tuesday 20th January 2026 14. We are requested to keep on praying for the sick and believed families 15. We invited to a memorial service on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at 4:00pm. This is to comfort the family of Lucy Thuo who lost her husband. Burial will be on Thursday 8th January 2026 at Nyagatugu. We are also informed that today Macakaya will start at 4:00pm 16. We regret to inform you the passing on of Father to Lorna waithaka, Lorna is our member from Ebenezer fellowship, we are invited to a joint fellowship here in church on Wednesday 7th January 2025 at 7:00pm. Burial will be on Thursday 8th January 2026 at Kimende. 17. We regret to inform you passing on of brother to Josephine Irungu, Josephine is our member from Ebenezer fellowship, burial will be on Wednesday 7th January 2026 at Iyego, Kangema. 18. The burial for Brother in Law to V.C Francis will be on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at Gitwe, Kutus, Kirinyaga 19. Canon wishes you all a blessed New year 2026
